David D. Wellman, 66, died unexpectedly on Jan. 8 at Lincoln Health – Miles Campus. David was born in Damariscotta to James and Virginia (Creamer) Wellman. He grew up in Waldoboro and attended local schools. He joined the Army and was stationed in Germany.
From the Legislature: Tax Conformity Must Benefit Middle Class
2018 is getting off to a good start, following the passage of federal tax reform that I believe will help small businesses and low- and middle-class earners here in Maine. I have always believed that individuals are better stewards of their own money than bureaucrats in Washington and that economic growth occurs when people and small businesses are empowered to make financial choices with their own money.

Free Snowmobile Weekend is Jan. 26-28
This winter, the state of Maine is participating in a special weekend to provide enhanced opportunity for snowmobilers. On Jan. 26-28, a nonresident (from another state or province) may operate a snowmobile in Maine (no reciprocity necessary) so long as he or she has a valid registration from his or her home state or province.

French Feast and a Movie at Harbor Theater
