LA baseball opener moved to Belfast LA softball game is still home
Lincoln Academy has moved their KVAC opening baseball game, scheduled for April 24 at Lincoln, to Belfast at 4 p.m. The change was due to the baseball field not being playable. The softball game will be played at Lincoln Academy as scheduled.

Bionic Runner Reed Completes 28th Straight Marathon in Beantown
Retired doctor Stephen Reed, 69 of Wiscasset, completed his 28th consecutive Boston Marathon on Patriot’s Day. Reed had a total hip replacement of his left hip in July. After taking a few months off from running to recover, he was back pounding the pavement training for his favorite race.

After Life-Changing Injuries and Cancer, Bowen Therapist Nurtures Children For Free
After breaking both legs and battling cancer, Sherrie Clark, of Union, was “pretty broken and beaten.” She found relief from her pain and stiffness through Bowen therapy. She was so impressed by the results of the treatment that she became a certified professional Bowen work practitioner in 2009. Clark now offers her Bowen therapy services to youth for free. Among her free clients are Medomak Valley High School athletes, who she has helped return to action quickly after injuries.
