Waterville boys soccer team robbed the Eagles nest for a 2-1 win on Sept. 25. After a scoreless first half, Chris Williams converted a second half penalty kick. Declan Murphy gave the Panthers a 2-0 lead. The Eagles scored with under a minute to play. Levi Farrin ran onto a Jack Duncan pass and drove it to the back of the net.

Due to the impending storms, Lincoln Academy has moved their boys and girls soccer games vs. Waterville to Wed., September 25. The boys will play home at 3:30 p.m., and the girls away at 3:30 p.m.

Lincoln Academy boys cross country team won the Medomak Valley Homecoming Invitational meet on Sept. 20. The Eagles scored 58 points to beat out Morse with64 points. Jarrett Gulden led the charge with a first place finish in 16:33. Jojo Martin placed third, Cameron Nelson ninth, Sam True 19th and Nate True 30th to round out the scoring five.

Lincoln Academy girls soccer team won the battle of the Eagles, 3-1 on Sept. 17 at LA. Lincoln took a 2-0 lead at the half on goals from Ksenya Williams and Marley LeBel. Tatum Hancock added a second half goal to put LA up 3-0. Grace Houghton and Hancock added an assist each.

Medomak Valley girls soccer team tied Morse 2-2 in a double overtime stalemate on Sept. 17 in Waldoboro. Mary LaRochelle put the Shipbuilders on the boards. Sadie Cohen tied the game with 17:37 to play. Morse retook the lead when Nicole Brazee collected a failed Medomak clear and put it in the lower left corner of the net. Cohen headed in a Annie Vannoy corner kick to tie the game with 2:53 to play in the half.
