Round Top Season Closer to Give Proceeds to Benefit CHIP, Stepping Stone
Tuesday, Oct. 15 will be the last day of the 2019 season for the Round Top Ice Cream stand in Damariscotta. In keeping with custom, the entire proceeds of the day will be given to local charities. This year, the Community Housing Improvement Project and Stepping Stone Housing will benefit.

Changes Afoot for St. Philip’s in Wiscasset
As of Oct. 6, St. Philip’s vestry will move its Sunday service from the longtime 9 a.m. start time a half-hour later, to 9:30 a.m. At the same time, the worship space will once again be moved to the church’s Lippiat Hall, at 12 Hodge St. in Wiscasset, as an energy-saving effort for the colder months of the year.
