South Bristol Man Racks Up Fifth OUI

at

A South Bristol man and former Damariscotta restaurateur with four prior convictions for operating under the influence has received a nine-month jail sentence and 10-year license suspension for his fifth.

Lincoln County Courts

Brent L. Ayotte, 44, Augusta, burglary, April 29, Two Bridges Regional Jail two years, all but 60 days suspended, probation two years, restitution $100; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, April 29, Two Bridges Regional Jail 60 days.

The Wiscasset woman under indictment on a charge of depraved indifference murder in connection with the death of 4-year-old Kendall Chick waived her right to a jury trial during a court appearance in Knox County the morning of Thursday, Aug. 30.

Former MVHS Sub Admits to Assault of Student

at

A former substitute teacher at Medomak Valley High School in Waldoboro has admitted to assaulting a student. The guilty plea was in exchange for the dismissal of two more charges alleging that he exchanged explicit photos with the minor student.
