Truck Removed From Damariscotta Lake
The 2002 silver Dodge Ram that spent its winter at the bottom of Damariscotta Lake was removed June 29, Game Warden Joey Lefebvre said. The truck’s owner, Norman Palmer, hired a diver recommended by the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife to remove the truck.

Boothbay Man Reaches Plea Deal in 2013 Home Invasion Case
A Boothbay man with a lengthy criminal history has been sentenced to three years in prison and three years of probation after reaching a plea deal in connection with a home invasion on Barter’s Island nearly 2½ years ago.
