Waldoboro selectmen have asked Town Manager John Spear to work with Central Lincoln County YMCA Executive director Craig Wilson to craft a transfer agreement that would, if voters approve its provisions, transfer ownership of the A.D. Gray School building and surrounding land to the YMCA.

Waldoboro Accident Victims Identified
The person killed in a head-on collision in Waldoboro Friday has been identified as Lois Sparks, 70, of Portland, according to Waldoboro Police Chief Bill Labombarde. Sparks was in a pick-up truck driven by her son Murray Sparks and accompanied by his wife Joely, also of Portland, when they were involved in a head-on collision with a vehicle driven by Marie Tysinger of Waldoboro, according to Labombarde.
