Stephen Hanna, the Damariscotta resident injured in a single-vehicle accident March 22 in Bremen, died this morning at Maine Medical Center in Portland, a hospital spokeswoman said. He was 27.

On Monday afternoon, the department was paged out to brush fire, a permitted burn Boothbay Fire Chief Dick Spofford said got away from the permit holder. About a quarter acre was damaged in that event, Spofford said.
