The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office has responded to a serious motor vehicle crash on Rt. 1 in Edgecomb.
At this time Rt. 1 in Edgecomb is closed to both north and southbound traffic. For now, the public is being asked to seek alternate routes. More details will follow as soon information becomes available.

Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:
Oct. 26, Deputy Brian Collamore took a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle on Center Street, Nobleboro. The complainant stated that sometime between the previous night and this morning, someone(s) slashed the tire to her vehicle. The approximate replacement value is $100. Further investigation will follow as any new leads come forth.
