A three-car collision on Rt. 1 near the Medomak Veterinary Service in Waldoboro on June 21 around 4 p.m. caused traffic delays for a little more than an hour, but did not result in any serious injuries, said Waldoboro Police Chief Bill Labombarde.

Escaped felon Wayne Collamore was arrested around 2 p.m. today at the Owl’s Head Light State Park in Owl’s Head. Deputy U.S. Marshals arrested Collamore without incident after he was spotted in a car that was reported stolen from Round Pond earlier today.

The Nobleboro Central School Board has named Ann Hassett of Waldoboro as the school’s new principal. Hassett will succeed current principal Mark Deblois who announced his retirement earlier this year.
