Annual Chicken Pie Supper in Whitefield
Whitefield’s annual fall tradition, the Kings Mills Union Hall Association’s chicken pie supper, will take place this year on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 5-7 p.m.
Paint Nite Maine for Kids at St. Giles’ Oct. 19
St. Giles’ Episcopal Church in Jefferson will host a kids version of the popular Paint Nite Maine program, but it will take place not at night but rather from noon-2 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 19.

Oktoberfest Waldoboro is a celebration of Waldoboro’s German heritage and will take place on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a rain date of Oct. 13. It will be held at Cider Hill Farm, located at 785 Main St. in Waldoboro.
All Welcome for Damariscotta Trunk-Or-Treat
The Damariscotta Police Department, the Central Lincoln County YMCA, and Great Salt Bay Community School are once again teaming up for a Halloween Trunk-or-Treat. The event will take place in GSB’s back parking lot from 4-6 p.m. on Halloween, Thursday, Oct. 31.
Pumpkinfest Breakfast
The Wells-Hussey American Legion Post No. 42, in Damariscotta, will host its annual Pumpkinfest breakfast from 7:30-11 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 13. The post is on upper Main Street, near the CLC YMCA.

The Edgecomb Fire Department Auxiliary will host a fish fry Saturday, Oct. 12 at the fire station, 473 Boothbay Road, Edgecomb, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Doughnuts and Apples at AppleFest
AppleFest will take place Saturday, Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Nobleboro Historical Center and the Nobleboro Central School gym. This is the 14th year that the Nobleboro Historical Society has held this event and everyone is welcome to visit with friends and neighbors and enjoy music by Playin’ Possum and Fondy York’s delicious hot doughnuts.

Cider Pressing at Pownalborough Court House Sept. 29
Families are invited to bring apples and press their own cider at the Pownalborough Court House in Dresden on Sunday, Sept. 29. Members of the stewardship committee of the historic site at 23 Courthouse Road, off Route 128, will be on hand from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to advise participants on the use of an electric grinder or a traditional press.
Kids Race at Race Through the Woods
This year, as in previous ones, Midcoast Conservancy’s Race Through the Woods trail races will feature a kids obstacle course, a fun and positive way to introduce younger kids to the unique experience of trail racing.
Cornhole Fundraiser for New Bristol Softball Field
On Oct. 5, with a rain date of Oct. 6, The Harbor Room, Bristol Boosters, and volunteers of the Bristol Softball Fundraising Committee will throw a cornhole tournament to raise money for the third phase of construction of the new softball field.
