Princess Tea Party to Benefit Local Burn Victim Charlotte Ramsdell
This Saturday, Aug. 3, from 1-6 p.m. at the Damariscotta Baptist Church, at 4 Bristol Road in Damariscotta, a lovely “Frozen” festival and princess tea party is planned. Queen Elsa, Princess Anna, and another princess are going to visit. There will be games, face painting, dancing, music, and food.

A lovely “Frozen” festival fundraiser for a young burn victim named Charlotte is planned for Saturday, Aug. 3 from 1-6 p.m. at the Damariscotta Baptist Church; call 677-3061 for more information. At this stage, there is word that Queen Elsa, Princess Anna, and another princess are going to visit. The band Rusty Hinges and possibly a few surprise musicians will provide the music.

Karl’s Kids will host a dance party as its first Lincoln County fundraiser on Friday, July 26 at the Lakeside Barn in Duck Puddle Campground in Nobleboro.

Bigelow Laboratory to Host July 19 Open House
Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences will host its annual open house at its East Boothbay campus at 60 Bigelow Drive on July 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This event gives the public a rare opportunity to get hands-on with ocean science at the state-of-the-art laboratory and meet some of the world’s tiniest – and more important – sea life.
Maine Humorist Tim Sample Returns July 18
On Thursday, July 18, in what has become a summer tradition, Tim Sample returns to Boothbay Harbor to perform at the Opera House. Sample is a Maine native whose unique New England style of humor has gained him a national following.
Bean-Hole Bean Supper is July 13
The First Baptist Church of Jefferson will have a public bean-hole bean supper Saturday, July 13 from 5-6:30 p.m. It will be served buffet-style, along with pork, ham, potato salad, coleslaw, homemade yeast rolls, and all kinds of homemade pies. Beverages include lemonade, water, coffee, and tea.

Bean Supper this Saturday
The First Baptist Church of Nobleboro holds its first public supper for the summer season this Saturday, June 29, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and costs $7 per person. A traditional menu of beans, hot dogs, macaroni and cheese, rolls, and homemade desserts will be served in the church hall located at the corner of Back Meadow Road and Center Street in Nobleboro.
