North Nobleboro Community Association members recently held their final planning meeting for North Nobleboro Day. This year, the festivities will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11 at the community grounds on Upper East Pond Road, or until the chicken runs out. This will be the 46th year that members of the community have joined together to organize a great day of fun for their neighbors while raising money to benefit the local area.

The Family Fun Fair in Bristol Mills will be held Saturday, Aug. 4 at the Congregational Church of Bristol, 1263 Bristol Road, Bristol Mills. The hours are from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., but a pancake breakfast will be served from 8-9 a.m. for the hungry early birds. The silent auction will end at 1 p.m.
