Dodgeball Benefit for Merritt Brackett Lobsterboat Races

The fourth annual dodgeball tournament to benefit the Merritt Brackett Lobsterboat Races during Olde Bristol Days in August will take place Saturday, March 16 at Bristol Consolidated School, 2153 Bristol Road, Pemaquid (Bristol). This tournament is fun for the whole family, with the adults getting quite competitive.

The National Library of Health and Healing in Waldoboro is pleased to announce the upcoming Ideas Exchange – aka “IdEx” — luncheon discussion titled “Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats to the United States Interests Abroad,” presented jointly by the National Library of Health and Healing and other allied organizations. Odd Alewives Farm Brewery in Waldoboro will have a birthday party for Rocket, the brewery’s resident cat, to benefit Pope Memorial Humane Society in Thomaston on Saturday, March 16 from 1-3 p.m.

Workout and Cocktails for a Cure at Ocean Blue Fitness

On Saturday, March 9, Ocean Blue Fitness in Damariscotta will be one of over 30 gyms nationwide that will be raising money to find a cure for leukemia and lymphoma at a workout and Cocktails for a Cure event. There will be two different workouts to choose from at either 2 p.m. or 3 p.m., then from 4:30-7 p.m., Hawks House Inn will host cocktails, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, and desserts.

WMHS Boosters Cornhole Tournament March 23

A cornhole tournament to benefit the Wiscasset Middle High School Boosters will take place in the WMHS gym Saturday, March 23. Check-in time is 10:30 a.m. with an 11 a.m. start.

Entertainment Lineup Announced for ‘Through the Pages’ Ball

Winter Fest at Round Top Farm Postponed Until Feb. 17

Winter Fest, a free family-friendly event at DRA’s Round Top Farm in Damariscotta, has been postponed due to lack of snow and will now be held on Sunday, Feb. 17 from noon-3 p.m. The event is hosted by Damariscotta River Association, Pemaquid Watershed Association, and Great Salt Bay Community School’s PTO.

Benefit Potluck at CLC Y on Feb. 12

The Central Lincoln County YMCA, at 525 Main St. in Damariscotta, will hold a benefit potluck dinner on Tuesday, Feb. 12 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. for a local child undergoing medical treatment. All community members are invited to attend and enjoy a variety of homemade soups, salads, breads, and desserts.
