Hazel Laura Louise Magistrelli (nee Raasch), 99, of Lynn, Mass., was taken to her heavenly home on Nov. 29 at Hill House Assisted Living in Bath.

Helen W. Chapman, 88, a resident of Cove’s Edge, passed away peacefully on the evening of Jan. 12 at LincolnHealth – Miles Campus after a long period of declining health.

Lowell “Rig” Simmons, 79, of Damariscotta, passed away peacefully at his home on the afternoon of Jan. 18.

Penny Sherwood, of Newcastle, passed away after a long illness on Jan. 26.

Roger Everett Mank, 90, of Waldoboro, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 25 at his home.

Nancy Mary Soule, 74, of Waldoboro, passed away peacefully at home on Jan. 25 surrounded by her loving family, after a short bout with illness.

On Jan. 19, John Atkinson, a wry, intelligent, curious, affectionate and dedicated father of three, died at age 90. He was a resident of Schooner Cove Retirement Community in Damariscotta.

Albert E. Armstrong, “Al”, 78, of Jefferson, passed away on the morning of Jan. 22 at Maine Medical Center in Portland, with his loving family by his side.

Robert L. “Bob” Morin, 69, passed away Jan. 18 with his loved ones by his side, after a battle with cancer. He fought hard and was always full of hope.

Clinton A. Feyler, 87, of Mt. Vernon, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 11. Clint was born in Newcastle on Aug. 6, 1931, a son of Charles E. and Hattie M. (Weaver) Feyler.

Shane Steeves, 54, of Nobleboro, passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack on Jan. 21.
