Charles Cullen Grimes, of Southport, better known as Mike Grimes, passed peacefully on Oct. 19 with his wife Anne of 61 years at his side.

Gordon Neal Hyson Sr., 71, died from duodenal cancer on Oct. 21.

Ella K. Hersom, 82, of Dresden, passed away peacefully on Oct. 16 with her sons by her side. She had resided at Safe Havens at St. Andrews Village in Boothbay Harbor for the past two years.

Jane M. Spofford, a.k.a. Plain Jane from Maine, passed away peacefully Oct. 19 at Safe Havens, St. Andrews Village, Boothbay Harbor.

Joan Francis Curtis, 69, passed away Oct. 17 at her home after a long brave battle with multiple illnesses.

Malcolm “Mac” Ridley, 92, of Nobleboro, passed away on Oct. 18 at Cove’s Edge following several years of declining health. Mac was the son of Eugene and Ruby (Davis) Ridley, and was born in Poland on July 5, 1926.

David C. Peters, 61, of Boothbay, passed away on Oct. 14 surrounded by his wonderful family and listening to the Patriots game on TV.

Evangeline B. Gibson passed away Oct. 17 after a short battle with acute leukemia.

Rachel Kauserud died Aug. 15 in Dallas, Tex. She was on her way to celebrating her 91 birthday.

Robert Lewis Bartle, 77, quietly passed away on the evening of Oct. 12.

David A Taylor, 84, of Boothbay Harbor, passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side on Oct. 13 at their home.
