Christopher Lamb Brookes, 69, died at home in North Yarmouth on Oct. 10.

Kim Freeman Meuse, of Newcastle, passed away Oct. 29 surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born on Feb. 18, 1955 during one of the worst snowstorms of the year.

Dorothy “Doffy” McCann Preston died peacefully in Damariscotta, Maine on October 29, 2018, surrounded by her family. Doffy was born on March 23, 1931 in Mamaroneck, New York, to Richard and Dorothy McCann.

Samuel E. Roberts, 87, of Nobleboro, passed away peacefully at LincolnHealth – Miles Campus on Nov. 6 after a lengthy illness. He was born on Nov. 18, 1930 in Damariscotta to Francis and Dorothy Erskine Roberts.

Dennis H. Gordon, 69, of Wiscasset, went to heaven to join his wife and son on Nov. 5. He passed peacefully surrounded by family.

Vernon (Vern) Willis Bosworth Jr., 58, of Newcastle, died peacefully in his sleep on Nov. 2. Vern was born in Huntsville, Ala. on July 27, 1960 to Vernon Bosworth Sr. and Nettie (Griffin) Bosworth.

Henry H. Barstow, 85, passed away Oct. 29 at his home. Born April 16, 1933 in Ellsworth, he was the son of the late Henry and Olive Kealiher Barstow.

Barbara Tracy Lacasse, 76, of Lenoxdale, Mass., died Oct. 22 in Hillcrest Commons Nursing Home, Pittsfield, Mass.

Bradley L. Jacobs passed away on the evening of Oct. 28 at the Togus, VA hospital in Augusta. He was born on April 1, 1934, one of seven sons of Paul and Gertrude Feltis Jacobs of Newcastle.
