Richard A. Scott, 89, of Nobleboro, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family and close friends, on the morning of July 25.

Brian Scott Simmons, 52, of Waldoboro, passed away unexpectedly on July 22 in Waldoboro. Brian was born April 4, 1965 to Sandra Mank of Waldoboro.

James Allen Lorenzen Sr., 63, passed away with his family by his side at Quarry Hill in Camden on July 20 after more than a decade battling Multiple Sclerosis.

Sally D. Goodsell, 84, wife of the late James H. Goodsell, passed away at the Lincoln Home on July 20.

Maria Anneliese Muriel DiGirolamo passed away quietly July 2 in her bed at Quarry Hill in Camden with friends and family always near. 

A memorial service for Dr. Richard D. Waterman who passed away on October 20, 2016, will be held at the Waldoboro United Methodist Church on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Karen Lili Pax and Pastor Dave Macy officiating.

Shirley Dill, 96, passed away April 30. Born Oct. 1, 1920 in Bath, she was raised primarily by her paternal aunts, Elizabeth (Herbert) Caswell, and Ann (Herbert) Winslow in Bristol near Pemaquid Point.

Dr. Edgar T. Gibson, 102, passed away July 16. Born March 23, 1915 to Albert E and Mabel (Cave) Gibson, he married the late Helen Tomlinson in 1943.

Lawrence E. Brown, 67, of New Harbor, passed away on July 11 after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.

Robert F. Sewall, 94, of Damariscotta, passed away on the afternoon of July 14 at Togus VA Maine Healthcare.

Vernon E. Hutchins, 83, of Jefferson, passed away at LincolnHealth – Miles Campus in Damariscotta on July 12 after a long struggle with declining health.
