Corey T. Jacques, 43, of Wiscasset, died July 9.

Tracey Lynn Neild, 41, died unexpectedly on July 4 at home. She was the daughter of Thomas L. and Faye L. Neild, born June 24, 1976 at Pen Bay Hospital in Rockport.

Linda Lee (Hopkins) Jackson, 71, of Keene, N.H., was taken home to our Lord and Savior on June 23 at Cheshire Medical Center, Keene, N.H. after a short battle with cancer.

Owen “Bud” M. Smith Sr., 85, passed away on June 24. An avid boatman, he was a gentleman from stem to stern though as a true seafarer, could be a bit salty at times.

Charles Ernest “Charlie” Brockett, 81, of Waldoboro, passed away at his home on July 4. He was born Dec. 10, 1935, the son of Welton T. Brockett and Flora M. (Burleson) Brockett.

Mary Sophie McIntyre, 65, of Waldoboro, passed away at the Sussman House on July 1 after many ongoing health complications. She was born Dec. 2, 1951, the daughter of Donald Tibbetts and Lillian Babcock and stepdaughter of Francis Tibbetts.

Meredith (Merry) Knowlton, 82, died June 24 at St. Andrew’s Village, Boothbay Harbor. Family and friends were by her side during the past year offering support during her illness, and were bedside with her as she peacefully took her last breath.
