Philip W. Simpson, 82, a lifelong resident of Wiscasset, died peacefully on Sept. 2 at his home with his loving family by his side.

Jane Glenn Hallam Murdoch, passed on peacefully and quietly at home on Pemaquid Lake, surrounded by her loving family and sweet dog Fiona, after a short battle with cancer, on the afternoon of Aug. 29.

Patty “Pat” Boynton, 91, a longtime resident of Chamberlain, passed away peacefully at her home on Aug. 31.

John Faulstich, 80, of Topsham and Nobleboro, passed away in the early morning of Aug. 31 at Cadigan Lodge of The Highlands in Topsham.

Cecile Emilie (Morin) Gifford, 79, of Waldoboro, peacefully passed away Aug. 28 at LincolnHealth – Miles Campus.

Mrs. Eva (Rice) Haley, 95, a longtime resident of Melrose, Mass., passed away peacefully at Lahey Medical Center in Burlington Aug. 5. 

Carl Alfred Petersen died at home on August 21, 2017 with loving family at his side. He was born on January 26,1926 to Alfred Andreas and Karoline Elise (Bang) Petersen in Brooklyn, New York.

Gladys “Woody” Tappan, 84, of Bremen, passed away on the afternoon of Aug. 27 at her home, with her daughter Barbara by her side.

Archie Wilmont Brewer, 72, of Wiscasset, passed away on Aug. 21 at his residence after being diagnosed with esophageal cancer.

Earl Julian Bulmer Jr., 70, of New Harbor, passed away on Aug. 27 at the Glenridge Facility in Augusta. Earl was born on Aug. 15, 1947 in Greenville, son of Earl J. Bulmer Sr. and Rita King Bulmer.
