Sara Lee Browne passed away on March 7 in Melbourne, Fla. after a brief illness. Known to her friends and family as Dee, she was born on June 17, 1935 in Minneapolis, Minn., daughter of Cmdr. O.J. and Katherine Martyn.

Leslie Jay Staley, 58, of Waldoboro, passed away Oct. 31. He was a true fighter with nine lives against his 25-year fight with cancer.

Thelma A. Sprague, 94, of Wiscasset, died Nov. 1 at LincolnHealth – Miles Campus in Damariscotta.

Glenys Harriet Morse Foss died peacefully, surrounded by loving family and staff at Cove’s Edge long term residence in Damariscotta on Oct. 28.

James “Jimmy” Fossett, of Bristol, passed away peacefully at Maine Medical Center on the evening of Nov. 5 after a brief illness, with his family by his side.

Earl D. Dighton, 78, of Wiscasset, went to be with the Lord on Oct. 27 with his loving family by his side.

Arthur Farley Mayo III passed away of cancer on Nov. 3, under the care of hospice and surrounded by family.

Hiram “Bob” Lovins, 76, of Nobleboro, went to be with his Lord and Savior on the morning of Oct. 29.

Carl McCloy, 81, of Walpole, formerly of Pennsboro, W.Va., departed this life on Oct. 28 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

Susan A. Daiute, 66, of Hallowell, died peacefully on Nov. 23 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Joyce Joy, 86, longtime resident of Richmond and 33-year employee of the Maine Veterans Hospital at Togus, passed away Nov. 11 at Springbrook Center, Westbrook.

Donald Roy Sigler, of Bristol, passed away with family by his side on Nov. 23 after a long illness.
