Roland R. Luce, 92, of Washington, passed away peacefully on April 18 at the Togus VA Center with his loving family by his side.

Roger André Fessaguet, renowned chef, educator and former co-owner of Manhattan’s acclaimed La Caravelle and Le Poulailler restaurants, died in Damariscotta on April 2 at the age of 82.

Raymond Parker Thompson, 68, passed away in Waldoboro, on April 18. He was born in Rockland on Dec. 29, 1945, to the late Elmer and Bernice Harper Thompson.

Samuel Hanson Strout, 32, passed away in Waldoboro on April 7. He was born on July 22, 1981 to Jonathan and Paulette Strout in Rockport.

Joanna “Jana” Voorhis Beattie, 84, of Newcastle, passed away quietly in her room at the Lincoln Home on the evening of April 7.

Ellen Paul Skelding Bernard passed away on March 5 in Yarmouth, one week before her 88th birthday.

Gearry Lee Ranger, 79, passed into glory land at his earthly home in New Harbor with his beloved wife Sally Dingley Ranger of 59 years by his side.

Gregory “Greg” Pierce Bolster, 57, of Walpole and Pemaquid, passed away peacefully at his home on the evening of April 15, after a six-year illness with esophageal cancer.

Marguerite (Margo) Loehr Kornahrens, 96, died on April 8 at Riverside at Chase Point in Damariscotta, after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Roger A. Fessaguet, 82, of Chamberlain, passed away at the Cove’s Edge Nursing Facility on the morning of April 2. Born in Villefranche sur Saone, France, he was the son of Andre and Renee Fessaguet.

Peggy Ann Aldrich, 70, passed away in Waldoboro, on April 18. She was born on July 5, 1943 in Milford, Mass. to the late John and Alice Burns Aites.

There will be a celebration of life for Charles “Chuck” Lamb, of Bristol, at 11 a.m., Sat., April 26 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church on Glidden Street in Newcastle with a reception immediately following downstairs in the undercroft. All are welcome.

Michael George Bishop, 61, passed away on March 29 after a battle with cancer. He was born in Westfield, Mass. on May 31, 1952 and lived there until 2005 when he moved to Maine.
