Joyce H. Barnes, 81, a resident of Ridgeview Health and Rehabilitation in Shenandoah, Penn., formerly of Waldoboro, passed away on Nov. 14 at the Schuylkill Medical Center East in Pottsville, Penn.

Grace Meserve Nein, of Torrington, Conn., passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Nov. 26 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, with her loving family at her side.

Dorothy B. Brownell, 91, of Union, passed away peacefully Nov. 13 at Windward Gardens in Camden, just six weeks after losing her husband of 65 years, Frederick Brownell.

Ronald “Charlie” Stanley Christie, of Jefferson, passed away on Nov. 6.

Sara Hoge Atkinson Snyder, 93, died peacefully at the Highlands in Topsham on Nov. 3.

Anne Marie Bilz, 92, of Bremen, passed away at her home on Nov. 7.

James (Jim) A. Taliana, 71, died Nov. 25 in Lititz, Penn.

Eleanor Lee Wilson, 98, of Jefferson, died Nov. 5 in Waldoboro. She was born July 15, 1914 in Portland to Roger Nichols and Martha Chase Nichols.

Ethelyn Ralph Deery, 102, passed away on the morning of Oct. 28 at the Lincoln Home in Newcastle.

Loretta Boeche, 88, a retired newspaper reporter and editor and active volunteer in numerous area organizations, died Oct. 19 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta.
