Joseph Baldridge Wentworth, 87, of Wiscasset, died Oct. 14 at the Hospice Center at the Togus Veteran’s Medical Center in Augusta surrounded by his family.

Phyllis Viola Eaton Hart, 98, former resident of Edgecomb and Wiscasset, died Oct. 7 at Thornton Oaks Retirement Community in Brunswick.

Devan James Basinet, 23, of Jefferson, passed away on Sept. 25 as a result of an automobile accident.

Melburne C. Applebee, 79, of Wiscasset, loving husband, brother, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Oct. 19 at Maine Medical Center.

Barbara “Babs” S. Read, former New Harbor resident, died Oct. 1 surrounded by family at her daughter’s home in Goodland, Fla.

Richard Carew Rice, 51, well loved and respected in the Baltimore and Damariscotta communities, died on Oct. 14 at his home in Ruxton, Md.

Edward Alan Roberts died in Fort Walton Beach, Fla. on Oct. 4, two weeks before his 89th birthday.

Roxanne Gerard Lincoln, 56, of Whitefield, passed away peacefully Oct. 28, surrounded by her loved ones after a long, courageous battle with breast cancer and cirrhosis of the liver.

Phyllis (Pat) Kennedy Urbanek entered into eternal rest on the evening of Oct. 3 at MaineGeneral Hospital in Augusta surrounded by her family.

James Dolan Reid, of Killingworth, Conn. and summer resident of Pemaquid, passed away quietly at home, surrounded by the love of his family, on Oct. 27.

Todd Williams, of East Boothbay, passed away peacefully on Oct. 3 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital in New Hampshire after a long struggle with Lymphoma and Leukemia. His family was by his side.

Doris Ann Forsberg (Heidgerd) was born Sept. 25, 1925 in Bridgeport, Conn., the only child of Anna Ohrmann and William Forsberg originally of Brevens Bruk, Småland, Sweden. She was 88.

Wendy Marie Glidden, 44, of Jefferson, passed away on Oct. 2 with family, friends and her boyfriend Patrick Clark at her side, after a short battle with lung cancer.

John “Buster” Winslow Sr., 78, of Waldoboro, passed away peacefully Oct. 23 at the Knox Center in Rockland.
