Donald Arthur Simmons, 83, of Friendship, passed away peacefully at his home with all of his family by his bedside on Dec. 10.

Jessie Elizabeth Cohoon Aldrich, 101, of Walpole, passed away at her home on the afternoon of Nov. 25, one week shy of her 102nd birthday.

Mary Langdon (Browne) Charbonneau, 79, born March 26, 1934 in New York, N.Y., passed away on Dec. 14 in Damariscotta.

Lewis M. Kleinkopf died unexpectedly on Dec. 12 from a rare form of cancer.

Kerry Percival Hisler, 71, of Jefferson, died Nov. 23. He was born Feb. 24, 1942 in Somerville, the son of Percival Hisler and Evelyn (Whittier) Hisler.

Erla Browne Kelley, 99, of Boothbay Harbor, died Dec. 25 at St. Andrews Village.

Mary Anne King, 92, long-time resident of South Waldoboro, died peacefully on Dec. 11 at Chase Point Assisted Living in Damariscotta.

Russell V. Grant, 80, of Boothbay, died Dec. 22 at LincolnHealth – Miles Campus in Damariscotta.

Frances Bryant, 99, of Burlington, Mass., passed away peacefully at her home on Dec. 13.

Ozro Irving Benner, passed away peacefully on Dec. 23 after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Damariscotta, he lived his entire life in the midcoast area.

Fred F. Scherer died at Valley Cares in Townshend, Vt., on Nov. 25, surrounded by family and friends.

Pauline “Polly” Crook was born on Jan. 2, 1932, at 1 Fish Point in Pemaquid Beach. She passed away in the early morning hours of Dec. 20 in that same house, 81 years later, once all of her four children were there.

Cicely Aikman Scherer died at Valley Cares in Townshend, Vt. on Dec. 6, 11 days after her husband Fred F. Scherer passed away.

Gail K. Whittier, 68, of Union, died at her home the morning of Dec. 19.
