Anne Reppert Lewis, 88, of Washington, D.C. and longtime summer resident of South Bristol, passed away peacefully on the morning of July 14 at Halquist Memorial Inpatient Center (Hospice) in Arlington, Va.

Peggy Ann (Callahan) Olson, 51, of Round Pond, passed away at her home on the morning of Aug. 8 after a courageous battle with cancer.

William A. Clark, whom everyone knew as Bill, passed away the evening of Aug. 21 after a long illness.

Bruce G. Simmons, 54, of Nobleboro, passed away the evening of Aug. 20 at the Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta. Born on April 14, 1959, in Damariscotta, he was the son of Ralph Simmons Sr. and Louise (Black) Simmons.

E. Beryle Smith Hagar, longtime resident of Bristol, passed away on the evening of Aug. 17 with her two daughters, Cindy and Evelyn, and her very special granddaughter, Deanna, by her side.

Russell H. Kempton, aka Rusty Rogers, of New Harbor, passed away peacefully in the afternoon, August 9, at home with his wife Patricia (Patty) and faithful black cat Kitty at his side.

Martha Ann Ogden Benjamin, 57, of Essex Junction, Vt., passed peacefully into the next stage surrounded by family and friends on Aug. 1, at her daughter’s home in Georgia, Vt.

David Lawrence Snyder passed from ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) after a three-year battle on Aug. 12.
