Hale Tukey, 92, of Damariscotta, passed away peacefully at his home on the morning of Aug. 4.

Helen M. Simmons, 91, of Rockland, died peacefully Aug. 8 at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport where she had been a patient only a few hours.

Donald “Donnie” Perry, of Damariscotta, passed away at home, with his family by his side, on the evening of Aug. 13 after a stubborn, hard fought battle with stomach cancer.

Thereas Osier Richards, 93, resident of Round Pond for over 70 years, passed away Aug. 5 at the Gregory Wing, St. Andrew’s Village in Boothbay Harbor.

Ronald “Gene” Jones, 67, of Phippsburg, died peacefully at his home after a valiant battle with cancer on Aug. 9.

Eileen Marie Doyle, 88, of Waldoboro, passed away on the evening of July 28 at Country Manor Nursing Home in Coopers Mills.

Barbara Chase Mullins, 91, of York, died peacefully on Aug. 5 at Sentry Hill, York.

Miriam Louise Showalter Fessaguet passed away on Aug. 9 in Thousand Oaks, Cal. after a short illness.

Priscilla Erskine Chadwick Jones, 95, passed away peacefully at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta on Aug. 27 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Dorothy M. Wright, 83, of South Bristol, passed away on the morning of Aug. 1 at her home with her family by her side.

A memorial service for David Brooks “Dixie” Howell, 75, of Pemaquid Point, who died on July 21, will be held at 10 a.m., Sat., Aug. 17 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Newcastle.

Edith Beryle Hagar, 99, a longtime resident of Bristol, passed away peacefully on Aug. 17 with her loving family by her side.

Marilyn Elaine Strickland, 71, of Boothbay, passed away peacefully at her home on Aug. 4 with her loving family by her side.

F. Parker “Tad” Bartlett III, 74, of Boothbay Harbor, lost his three-year battle with cancer on Aug. 6.
