Marjorie (Marge) Hall Gordon, of Warren, died Nov. 1 at the Knox Center for Long Term Care in Rockland after a battle with Alzheimer’s.

Raymond Francis Hart, 93, of Warren, passed away Nov. 20 at his home with his family at his side.

Daniel Sawyer, 36, of Whitefield, traveler of the world, disappeared at sea Oct. 16.

Nancy Holloway, 55, died Nov. 18 surrounded by her family and friends after a brief battle with cancer.

Patricia Ann Ribeiro, 62, of Whitefield, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Oct. 31.

Matthew (Matty) Timothy Orbin, 20, passed away Nov. 17 at his home in Waldoboro. He was born July 13, 1988 in Brunswick, a son of Timothy and Nicole Lizanecz Orbin. He grew up in Waldoboro and attended local schools graduating from Medomak Valley High School, Class of 2007.

Barbara Gove Lewis, 90, of Boothbay, died at St. Andrews Hospital on Oct. 31.

She was born on Barters Island, Sept. 24, 1918, the daughter of Raymond and Mabel Sidelinger Gove.

Carolyn J. Burke, 69, of Bath, died Nov. 12 at the Mid Coast Senior Health Center following a long illness.

Cecil Bennett “Ben” Heaberlin Jr., 80, of Boothbay Harbor, died Nov. 1 at St. Andrews Gregory Wing in Boothbay Harbor.

James R. Johnson, 92, former Dean of the School of Fine Arts and Professor of Art History at the University of Connecticut, died peacefully on Oct. 8 at Cove’s Edge Skilled Nursing in Damariscotta surrounded by loving family.

Barbara Katherine Buck Grover, 76, of Clearwater, Fla., died Oct. 12, after a long courageous battle with cancer. She died at home with her husband, Robert Grover, by her side. Hospice of Florida was a tremendous help to her throughout this struggle.

Frances W. Harrington, 85, of Pemaquid, passed away Oct. 9 peacefully surrounded by loved ones at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta.

Barbara M. Cromwell, 78, of Westport Island, passed away peacefully Oct. 1 in Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick, surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Enfield on Aug. 4, 1930, the daughter of Sylvan and Mildred (Chase) Applebee.

Jane Hodgkins Sweet, 88, of Castine, died peacefully in her sleep on Sept. 26 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta.
