Alberta Poole Rowe, 99, of Bath, died Feb. 19 after a long stay in the Winship Green Nursing Center in Bath.

Marshall Rufus Lund, 72, of Waldoboro, died Feb. 16 at the Smith Foster Home.

Francis V. “Frank” Colby, 61, of Boothbay, died at home early on the morning of Feb. 7, after a long courageous battle with lung cancer, with his wife Pat at his side.

Mary A. (Pickwick) Knapp, 98, of Augusta, formerly of Bristol Mills, died Jan. 30 at the Maine Veterans Home, Augusta.

Charles Franklin Adams, Jr., 91, of Falmouth and Ocean Point, died on Feb. 18.

Dr. William R. Woolner, of Jefferson, passed away peacefully on Jan. 27 at Miles Memorial Hospital with his wife and family at his side.

Joseph P. Dearborn, 84, of Damariscotta, passed away on the morning of Jan. 19 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta.

Constance (Connie) Spear Sullivan, 90, died Jan. 1 at Mercy Hospital.

Wilhelm (Willie) A. Lichtenberg, 84, formerly of Greenwich, Conn., passed away Jan. 23.

Merlene A. Vose, 68, of Waldoboro, died Jan. 2 at Penobscot Bay Medical Center in Rockport, with her loving husband and their two sons by her side.

Sally P. Wright, 78, of Bath, died Jan. 28 at a Brunswick hospital.

Carmela Adeline Cretella-Moccio, 76, of Waldoboro, died Dec. 30, 2008 at her home.

Freeman B. Peaslee, 71, of Boothbay, died Jan. 24 at Mid Coast Hospital, after a brief illness.
