Esther Laura (Light) Jackson, 89, died Jan. 1 in Winter Garden, Fla.

Jason S. Cunningham, 33, of Waldoboro, passed away at his home on the evening of Jan. 22.

Arthur E. Tainter Jr., 55, of Waldoboro, went home to be with the Lord Jan. 16 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunwsick with his wife by his side, after a brief battle with cancer.

Robert L. Luce, 60, of Union, died Jan. 2 at his home following a five year battle with cancer.

Ann McLain, of Walpole, passed away Jan. 22 at her home, with her family by her side.

George F. James Sr., 70, of Dresden, died Jan. 14 at his residence.

Jon R. Welton, 70, of Tampa, Fla., passed away Jan. 1.

Merle R. Matthews Jr., “Butch”, 55, of Wiscasset, passed away Jan. 24 at his residence.

Lewis W. Adams II, 33, of St. Petersburg, Fla., died suddenly at home on Jan. 1.

Barbara L. Pinkham, 63, of Boothbay Harbor, died Dec. 25 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Gertrude E. (Mahn) Hesselschwerdt, 98, formerly of Milton, Mass. and South Bristol, died Jan. 25 in New London, N.H. after a brief illness.

Jason H. Williams, 36, of Waldoboro, died unexpectedly Jan. 6 at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

Alice M. Call, 83, of Dresden, died unexpectedly on Dec. 23 at her home.
