Constance Logan Pratt, 90, died Oct. 1 at the Anderson Inn at Quarry Hill in Camden.

She was born Dec. 18, 1917 in Worcester, Mass., the daughter of Donald and Sarah Briggs Logan.

James R. Johnson, 92, former Dean of the School of Fine Arts and Professor of Art History at the University of Connecticut, died peacefully on Oct. 8 at Cove’s Edge Skilled Nursing in Damariscotta surrounded by loving family.

Barbara Katherine Buck Grover, 76, of Clearwater, Fla., died Oct. 12, after a long courageous battle with cancer. She died at home with her husband, Robert Grover, by her side. Hospice of Florida was a tremendous help to her throughout this struggle.

Frances W. Harrington, 85, of Pemaquid, passed away Oct. 9 peacefully surrounded by loved ones at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta.

Barbara M. Cromwell, 78, of Westport Island, passed away peacefully Oct. 1 in Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick, surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Enfield on Aug. 4, 1930, the daughter of Sylvan and Mildred (Chase) Applebee.

Jane Hodgkins Sweet, 88, of Castine, died peacefully in her sleep on Sept. 26 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta.

Leslie Leon Gile, 67, of Waldoboro, died Oct. 20 at his home.

He was born Dec. 28, 1940 in Rochester, N.H., a son of the late Albert Edward and Sara Frances (Weeks) Gile.

Merle S. Grover, 70, a lifelong resident of Wiscasset, died Oct. 9 at Maine Medical Center.

 

Barbara M. Cromwell, 78, of Westport Island, passed away peacefully Oct. 1 in Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick, surrounded by loved ones.

Donald E. Hutchins Sr., 69, of Edgecomb, died Oct. 17 at Maine Medical Center in Portland in the company of members of his loving family.

Lucinda Grace Krauter, 65, of Raymond, passed away Oct. 10 at the Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn after a brief battle with cancer.

Virginia H. Wroth, 83, of Wilbraham, Mass., passed away at home on Oct. 13. She was born in Baltimore, Md. on March 22, 1925, the daughter of the late Floyd T. Humphries and Anna T. (Helfenstein) Humphries.
