I encourage all to celebrate and support healthy parenting support services in our region. This week (Oct. 20-24) is celebrated as Home Visiting Week in Maine by proclamation from Maine’s Governor.

The alcohol sellers are at it again. Back in the 1980s, if enough people in a town were convinced that there was a problem, the state would train a team to return to their community with the education and tools to effectively deal with the problem.

Bruce MacDonald has worked tirelessly supporting communities that wish to preserve local governance of their schools. Reflecting the consensus of legislative District 61, he opposed the consolidation plan.
