The Newcastle Select Board has scheduled a Special Town Meeting to be held on  October 14, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Newcastle Fire Station Community Room, located at 86 River Road to vote on the following:

Nobleboro Board of Appeals will meet Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 6 p.m. to hear application from resident on Willis Road.

SOUTH BRISTOL PLANNING BOARD meets the first Tuesday of each month, 7 P.M., at the Town Hall on Clarks Cove Road, Walpole. The public is welcome to attend meetings. Applications for Permits are to be filled out and presented at the Town Hall the Thursday before each regular meeting.

Work will begin soon on the Large Culvert replacement project on River Road in the town of Edgecomb. The project involves replacing the current culvert. Weather permitting, the project will begin, with one lane alternating, on September 29, 2025. Beginning on October 1, 2025, River Road will be completely closed one mile north of the intersection of Mckay Road and River Road. The detour will be marked with directions and distances.
