Boothbay Region boys cross country team ran to a first place finish in the Mt. Valley Conference cross country championships, held at UMA in Augusta Saturday morning. The Seahawks placed five scoring runners in the top 12.

Mustangs Ride Out of Wiscasset with Homecoming Win

Monmouth collected a 4-2 win over Wiscasset girls soccer in Wolverines’ Homecoming game Saturday night. Wiscasset stayed with the Mustangs in first half action, trailing 1-0 at the break.

Russ Wins Busline League Cross-Country Championship

Great Salt Bay Community School runner Sam Russ won the 2014 Busline League cross-country championship Monday, Oct. 20 at Troy Howard Middle School in Belfast. Russ beat out second-place runner Brendan Moline, of Troy Howard, by 21 seconds.

Lincoln Golf Wraps Up Season 6-4

Lincoln Academy’s young golf team wrapped up their KVAC season with a 6-4 record and seeded third in the KVAC South Division.
