Over 1000 runners converged in Belfast Saturday to compete in the Festival of Champions cross country race. Awards were presented to the top 20 runners in the seeded division.

Medomak Valley boys’ winter youth basketball program tips-off with a clinic on Nov. 7 at Miller School in Waldoboro. Grades 3 & 4 will play from 8-9:30 a.m. and grades 5 & 6 from 9:30-11 a.m.

During this past Sunday afternoon the season ending golf tournament (AKA the Cry Baby Tournament) was played.
