The Busline League soccer championship games have been postponed from Sat., Oct. 24 to Mon., Oct. 26 in Rockland. The boys game will be played at 3:45 p.m., the co-ed championship at 5:15 p.m. and the girls championship at 7 p.m.

Coastal Hoops boys’ basketball team opened their fall basketball season on Sunday with two wins. Fall basketball is sponsored by MBR.org and has 46 high school boys teams playing. Teams are not affiliated with any high school or athletic program.

Both Medomak Valley boys’ and girls’ cross-country teams ran to victories Friday night in their Homecoming meets.

Twenty runners braved tropical storm Danny Saturday morning in the DRA Offroad 5K, a benefit for the Lincoln Academy swim team. Cold driving rain did not dampen the spirits of the runners competing on the beautiful grounds of DRA’s Salt Bay Farm.

Medomak Valley girls’ soccer team defeated Lincoln Academy 2-1 on Saturday during their Homecoming match-up to improve to 5-0.
