The Congregational Church of Bristol will hold a haddock chowder and sandwich luncheon at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 11. The menu will consist of homemade haddock chowder and a sandwich with one’s choice of one of three different fillings. The meal will be served with a beverage and a homemade dessert. The cost is $8 per plate.

This event will be held at the Russell Parish House. Parking is available behind the church, with handicapped accessibility as well. The snow date is Sunday, March 12; check the church’s Facebook page in case of a snowstorm.

Garry Blackman, Tim Sprague, Dick Spofford & the Murky Water Band team up with some of the region’s finest and most fun-loving musicians for this annual cabin fever reliever night out. It starts early with the doors swinging open at 6:30 pm, the music starts at 7 pm. Bring your dancing shoes and be prepared to do a bit of laughing tonight. It’s all in good fun and it’s also a fundraiser for the Opera House! Advance tickets $10, day of show $15.
