Hildy Ellis, coordinator at Knox-Lincoln Soil & Water Conservation District, will lead participants on a walk along the margins of the bog at Midcoast Conservancy’s Hidden Valley Nature Center.  A 220-foot boardwalk extends into the heart of the wetland, making it possible for visitors to interact with a fascinating but incredibly delicate ecosystem, and to witness the spring explosion of plant life there.

Cellist Scott Kluksdahl returns to Maine to perform with the DaPonte String Quartet in Schubert’s much-adored Cello Quintet in C Major in the final program of the 2016-2017 season. The program will also include Thomas Adès Arcadiana and Samuel Barber’s Adagio from String Quartet.
