He will be studying diesel hydraulic mechanics at Northern Maine Community College in Presque Isle and is a recent Lincoln Academy graduate. He will receive his $500 check after successfully completing his first semester.

Honey Bee Swarm Collection Service in Knox, Lincoln Counties
As part of their natural reproductive cycle, honeybees will swarm. A swarm is when a queen and a good portion of the worker population of bees leave the hive to find a new home. While a honeybee swarm is relatively harmless, it can be a frightening sight to people. Swarms should not be sprayed with water or disturbed in any other way. It is best to clear the area until a beekeeper arrives to make the removal.

News Along the Way Community Building and Generosity of Spirit
Have you ever heard of anyone searching for non-profits for which they could raise money? I was blessed to meet two such people this past weekend. On Saturday, the 15th, Inn Along the Way celebrated spring with an Open Mic fundraiser. It was full of sunshine, music, food, a potter, and some of the most giving, caring people I’ve ever run into.
