Midcoast Conservancy to Host Full Moon Paddle
Midcoast Conservancy will host a full moon paddle at its Hidden Valley Nature Center in Jefferson on Friday, Sept. 23 from 7-9 p.m. Participants can enjoy the silvery glow of the “full corn moon” — so called by early farmers because they had more nights of bright moon light to gather crops — from canoes provided by the nature center as they glide along Little Dyer Pond after a beautiful mile-and-a-half hike into the woods.

The Reverend Theodore Lyman Clapp, (Ted), 99, of Camden, passed away peacefully at Quarry Hill in Camden on Aug. 19. He was born May 15, 1919 in Northhampton, Mass., the son of Richard and Ellen Clapp.
Misfit Love Day at Apifera Farm is Oct. 6
Saturday, Oct. 6 is Misfit Love Day at Apifera Farm in Bremen, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine. This will be an open farm event and fundraiser for the nonprofit farm. The farm adopts elder/special needs animals, but also shares them with elder people.
Ghost of Paul Revere to Headline Music Fest
The Ghost of Paul Revere will be the headlining act on Saturday, Sept. 22 at the Boothbay Food & Music Festival. This Maine-based band has a large following and often sells out at performances around Maine and beyond.
