Boothbay Railway Village Celebrates Fall
The public is invited to celebrate the bounty of autumn during Family Harvest Days at Boothbay Railway Village with hayrides and train rides, pumpkin picking and decorating, make-and-take crafts, butter churning, cider pressing, cooking demonstrations and tasty treats to enjoy, animal exhibitors, sheepdog demonstrations, blacksmithing, weaving, and more. Family Harvest Days will take place on Saturday, Sept. 29 and Sunday, Sept. 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
Opening Reception for ‘Monhegan Days’ Show is Sept. 15
The Kefauver Studio & Gallery in Damariscotta presents the “Monhegan Days” art show. This is the fourth show of the 2018 season at the gallery. The show opens on Friday, Sept. 14 and runs until Oct. 7. The opening reception will be held on Saturday, Sept. 15 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Many of the guest artists will be present to meet visitors and discuss their work.
