South Bristol Historical Society Meeting
Old photos of South Bristol will be featured at the South Bristol Historical Society meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 3. Historical society historian David Andrews will present photographic views of the town through many decades, including the time when South Bristol was still part of the town of Bristol. Andrews has a large collection of views of the town and is constantly adding to his holdings. It is almost certain that newcomers and longtime residents alike will find something they haven’t seen previously on this photo tour through time and the town.

Richard G. and Jean N. Harris Informal Memorial Gathering
An informal gathering in memory of Richard G. and Jean N. Harris of Damariscotta, will be held at 2 p.m., Sat., Sept. 29 at Midcoast Friends Meetinghouse, 77 Belvedere Rd., Damariscotta. Richard Harris died on May 26, 2017 at age 85. Jean Harris died on March 20, at age 85. The couple moved to Maine in 1976.
