September Cooking Classes at FARMS
FARMS Community Kitchen will host four wonderful cooking classes that will highlight this season’s bounty. Join FARMS Youth Program Director Karen Kleinkopf for these fun, informative, hands-on classes. One can expand one’s repertoire with new recipes to use in the kitchen. Kleinkopf brings a passion for healthy cooking to her classes, which focus on locally grown, nutrient-dense vegetables.
Baked Bean Supper in Newcastle
On Saturday, Sept. 9 from 5-7 p.m., Sheepscott Community Church will host a public baked bean supper at the Sheepscot Clubhouse, 619 Sheepscot Road, Newcastle. Featured will be homemade baked beans and breads, franks, and a variety of salads and sides, pies, and beverages. There will be both inside and outside seating, weather permitting.
