Earl Julian Bulmer Jr., 70, of New Harbor, passed away on Aug. 27 at the Glenridge Facility in Augusta. Earl was born on Aug. 15, 1947 in Greenville, son of Earl J. Bulmer Sr. and Rita King Bulmer.

Grace Rocks in Waldoboro
The Waldoborough Historical Society has been blessed by several gifts of Grace Rocks left in its wall, by its flagpole base, and near its entrance. These lovely hand-painted rocks are now assembled in the Hauck/Bailey Building, where visitors can see them, each one an individual picture of joy.

The South Bristol Historical Society will host its first Trivia Night at Coveside Marina & Restaurant, at 105 Coveside Road, Rutherford Island (South Bristol), on Thursday, Sept. 14 at 6:30 p.m. People are encouraged to come and show off their knowledge of South Bristol while they enjoy food and drink.
