Every 12 hours and 26 minutes billions of gallons of water move into or out of the Gulf of Maine. Most locations around the world see their coastline gain about a meter of water between low and high tides. In contrast, we, who live along the Gulf of Maine, see anywhere from 3 to 17 meters of water depending on location.
Coastal Senior College Spring Classes
There’s still time to enroll in several Coastal Senior College spring courses. Classes are affordable ($35 enrollment fee per class), meet during the day, and offer a fun and stimulating environment for lifelong learners.
Child Care at Chocolate Fest
Chocolate Fest 2017 is for the whole family. Teens ages 13 and up are welcome to attend the event, April 1 from 7-10 p.m. Younger children are welcome to visit the child care for the event at the Bristol Congregational Church, just down the street from The 1812 Farm. There is no charge for child care.
