Solar Energy Forum in Waldoboro

The Waldoboro Renewable Energy Group, a subcommittee of the town’s Economic Development Committee, is hosting an informational meeting on the potential for solar energy as a renewable source to power the town’s buildings, residences, and commercial enterprises. The meeting will be held in the meeting room at the town hall on Route 1 in Waldoboro on Tuesday, April 4 from 6-8 p.m.

Robert A. Bonomi, 76, of Falmouth, formerly of Pemaquid, died March 13 at the Gosnell Hospice House following a courageous battle with brain cancer; his loving family was by his side.

Shirley Petra passed away on March 11 at the Gregory Wing Nursing Home at St. Andrews Village in Boothbay Harbor, surrounded by her daughters and caregivers.
