Nobleboro Central School Kindergarten Registration
In Maine, a child is eligible to be enrolled in public elementary school in the town where the child lives provided the child has turned 5 years old by Oct. 15 of that school year. Nobleboro Central School is currently making plans for the coming year’s class. If a family has a child approaching kindergarten age, they should contact the school for details.
IGeneX Speakers at Wiscasset Lyme Meeting

Food Mobile at Whitefield Lions Club
The Good Shepherd Food Bank Food Mobile will distribute food, including fresh produce, meat, and nonperishable items, to people in need in the greater Whitefield area on Wednesday, March 29 from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Whitefield Lions Club, 52 Main St., Coopers Mills. Team Prepares For Upcoming Czech Mission
Over Easter week this year, 10 Mainers will travel to an old communist youth camp deep within what was once called Czechoslovakia. Their mission is to teach conversational English in an area called Moravia, which is part of the Czech Republic. The team members live in Waldoboro, Warren, Bremen, Union, and Auburn and are being supported by families and friends and by several local Maine churches.

As a pet sitter, I often encounter new dogs to care for. I have yet to encounter a situation I can’t deal with, but this weekend’s cunning canine came close. What follows is my “tail” of woe.
