It is with Christian love and sorrow we announce the passing of our wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Elizabeth Lindsey Ogburn, 93. She died of natural causes July 29, 2019, at her home in Tallahassee, Fla.

Allan Johannes Laukka, 87, of Honeycomb Circle, Swannanoa, N.C., died peacefully on Aug. 13, 2019 at Maine Medical Center following a brief illness. His loving family was by his side.

After a long life of nearly 102 years, Elizabeth (Young) Pierce died peacefully on July 24, 2019.

Capt. Eugene “Casey” F. Walsh Ret., USCG, 102, of Newcastle, passed away peacefully at his home on the morning of Aug. 13, 2019. Born on Feb. 23, 1917 in St. Louis, Mo., he was the son of Patrick and Louise (Burkhart) Walsh.

Gloria Draper Hodgson, daughter of Frances Mary Rogers and Delbert Morley Draper, passed away Aug. 5, 2019.

Christine A. Baker, 70, of Waldoboro, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2019 at St. Andrew’s Village after a period of declining health.

Iris Tobin Selig, of Damariscotta, passed away on Feb. 1, 2019. Iris was just two months shy of her 71st birthday when she succumbed to multiple myeloma, which she courageously dealt with for about four years.
