James W. Hunt, 82, of Southport, died Sept. 22 at his home, surrounded by his loving family to whom he was entirely devoted.

Mary Etta Peaslee, 76, of Boothbay, died Sept. 21 at Maine Medical Center. She was lovingly surrounded by close family.

Helen Louise Bryant Nyboe, 93, of Round Pond, passed away peacefully on the evening of Sept. 16 at LincolnHealth – Miles Campus in Damariscotta. She was born in Newcastle on Aug. 19, 1925 to Evelyn Burnham and Lawrence Bryant.

Clare Coey Newbury, of Edgecomb, died unexpectedly Sept. 17. Born Oct. 1, 1946, she was a fourth-generation resident of Squirrel Island.

Victor W. Hart, 86, of Topsham, formerly of Round Pond, and River Vale, N.J., passed away Sept. 2.

Thomas Henry Darson, 91, passed away peacefully at Schooner Cove, Damariscotta, on Sept. 20. He was born in New York City on May 19, 1927, to the late Artemis Tomasian Darson and Armen E. Darson.

Alan Setzler Pooley, 79, of Sedgwick, passed away on Aug. 31. He was born in Madison, Wis., on Dec. 1, 1938.

Wilberta May Nichols West, 89, of Wiscasset, passed away on the afternoon of Sept. 18 at LincolnHealth – Miles Campus in Damariscotta.

Anne L. Springer, 101, a woman of deep faith, was called home on Sept. 17. Anne, a resident of Jefferson, where she lived with her daughter and son-in-law for the past 15 years, enjoyed a fulfilling and well lived life.
