Faith R. Jones, 88, of Nobleboro, passed away on the morning of Aug. 18, five days short of her 89th birthday, at the Cove’s Edge Nursing Facility in Damariscotta.

Carol S. Schell, of Nobleboro, passed away on Aug. 19 surrounded by her family at Central Maine Medical Center following a brief illness.

George Harland “Harney” Hanna, 90, of Round Pond, passed away peacefully of natural causes on the morning of Aug. 22.

Kathryn E. Leen, 66, of Bath, passed away July 2 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick after a brave battle with cancer.

Thomas Varley Golden, 25, was born to Jay and Susan Golden in Concord on Jan. 16, 1990 and died of cancer (Ewing Sarcoma) at the CRVNA Hospice House on July 24.

Faith Raddin Jones, 88, of Damariscotta Mills, passed away on Aug. 18 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta.

Janet P.R. Beerits, 98, of Sheepscot Village in Alna and Deer Isle, passed away peacefully on the evening of Aug. 9 in Ellsworth.

Helen A. Wilshire, 77, of Friendship, died Aug. 22 after a brief illness.

Jane Stevenson Blakemore passed away peacefully on Aug. 12. She was born in Boston, Mass. to John and Jean (Hawkey) Blakemore on April 8, 1937.

Allan R. Jones, 76, formerly of Nobleboro, passed away on Aug. 21, in St. James City, Fla., with his family and friends by his side, after battling with leukemia for several years.

Maxine Sylvia Heath, 80, of Pittston, passed away on Aug. 9 in Augusta due to complications following various health issues. Maxine left this world with her family by her side to wish her peace.

Zoa Erskine McFarland, 95, passed away peacefully with family at her side on the early morning of Aug. 17 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta.
