Kathryn E. Leen, 66, of Bath, passed away July 2 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick after a brave battle with cancer.

Thomas Varley Golden, 25, was born to Jay and Susan Golden in Concord on Jan. 16, 1990 and died of cancer (Ewing Sarcoma) at the CRVNA Hospice House on July 24.

Faith Raddin Jones, 88, of Damariscotta Mills, passed away on Aug. 18 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta.

Janet P.R. Beerits, 98, of Sheepscot Village in Alna and Deer Isle, passed away peacefully on the evening of Aug. 9 in Ellsworth.

Helen A. Wilshire, 77, of Friendship, died Aug. 22 after a brief illness.

Jane Stevenson Blakemore passed away peacefully on Aug. 12. She was born in Boston, Mass. to John and Jean (Hawkey) Blakemore on April 8, 1937.

Allan R. Jones, 76, formerly of Nobleboro, passed away on Aug. 21, in St. James City, Fla., with his family and friends by his side, after battling with leukemia for several years.

Claire Fuller Morrell, 82, of Wiscasset, passed away on July 25 in Brunswick.

Richard “Dick” Myron Cummings, 74, of Austin, Minn., died July 16 at his home.

Annette H. Brooks, 93, of Rockland, died July 9 at Penobscot Bay Medical Center in Rockport.

Debra McGarry Spence, of Bath, passed away on Dec. 29, 2014, after suffering a long illness with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

Carl G. Urquhart Sr., 72, of Wiscasset, died July 28 at his residence.

Norma Lee Spinney, a resident of Georgetown Island since 1975, passed away July 14 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough of bone cancer.

John Parker Thomas, 60, of South Bristol, passed away peacefully with his life partner, Gale Ross, at his side on July 10 at LincolnHealth – Miles Campus in Damariscotta.
